Co-investing in what matters

Chris Gardner founded GarCorp Inc. to support small and medium-sized healthcare services businesses through co-investing and providing strategic guidance to facilitate their growth. As a potential co-investor, Chris aims to be a value-added partner, leveraging his extensive experience in healthcare and multi-site operations. With over 28 years in pharmacy retail, he most recently served as President, CEO, and board member of Neighbourly Pharmacy.

Chris led the growth of Neighbourly Pharmacy from its early stages to become the third-largest national retail pharmacy network in Canada. Under his leadership, Neighbourly experienced over 600% growth through strategic acquisitions and organic development, now boasting nearly 300 locations across Canada. He also successfully guided the company through its initial public offering in 2021.

Prior to his role at Neighbourly Pharmacy, Chris spent 23 years at Shoppers Drug Mart, where he held various leadership positions, managing merchandising, district operations, and optimization projects, culminating in his role as Vice President of National Operations.

In addition to his leadership roles, Chris sits on several private healthcare boards and is actively involved in co-investing in multiple multi-site retail and healthcare businesses. He has also provided strategic guidance to several private equity firms regarding potential healthcare acquisitions.
